Darcy Lally is a filmmaker and visual storyteller based in New York City. As the founder of Stargaze Studios, an independent film company, she leads a team of emerging storytellers united by a shared passion for inventive and emotionally resonant filmmaking. Since graduating with a degree in Film and Photography, Darcy has helped lead the studio through multiple acclaimed short films, each defined by a distinctive visual style and strong collaborative vision.

Her work has been recognized by festivals including IFFBoston, the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival, the London Film & Television Festival, and the New York Shorts Awards.

Alongside her independent work, Darcy has spent the past two years immersed in New York’s film industry. She’s worked in professional camera rental houses while freelancing as a cinematographer, gaffer, editor, and colorist. Her foundation in computer science adds a technical fluency that informs her approach to image design and post-production workflow.

Driven by curiosity and collaboration, Darcy approaches every project with a balance of artistry and precision to craft stories which blur the line between intimacy and cinematic impact.
